Chetan Kandpal

Chetan Kandpal is currently pursuing a Master's thesis at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur within the Biological Science Bioengineering Department, focusing on decision-making through computational, neural, and behavioral lenses. Chetan has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, evaluating students in the Foundations of Cognitive Science course. As the founder of Cog-Hz, a podcast series aimed at sharing insights on cognition and neuroscience, Chetan has engaged with listeners from over 15 countries and interviewed experts in the field. Previous experiences include a Product Manager Fellow position at NextLeap and an internship with the Government of India for process re-engineering in citizen services. Chetan has also interned at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and worked as an AI Researcher at Next Tech Lab, following a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from SRM IST Chennai.
