Melissa Hackel

Melissa Hackel, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Finance at Kymera Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Infinity Pharmaceuticals for eight years, starting as Sr Director of FP&A in 2015 and being promoted to Vice President of Finance in January 2017. Melissa successfully managed the Accounting and FP&A teams and played a key role in rebuilding the FP&A team in order to provide improved business support to the entire organization.

Before joining Infinity Pharmaceuticals, Melissa worked at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (formerly Millennium Pharmaceuticals) for twelve years, starting as a Director of Finance in 2002 and leaving the company in 2014. Melissa also had a role at Millennium Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director - Senior Manager from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, they gained valuable experience as a Finance Manager at Nortel Networks from 2000 to 2002, and as a Finance Manager at Agilent (formerly Hewlett Packard) from 1997 to 2000. At Agilent, they performed financial analysis and product development for the Cardiology Products Division, and played an integral part in the successful launch of several medical devices.
