Sérgio Areias has a range of experience in the technology industry. 🗯 Sérgio started their career as a researcher at Universidade do Minho, where they focused on software development and the study of slicing techniques for component reusability. After this, they joined Grupo@Work as a QoS member, where they successfully developed an integrated domotics control software. At Gamesys, they worked as a Java Developer and was part of a team that developed a web application for gambling games in New Jersey. Following this, they joined Brandwatch Peerindex as a Software Engineer, where they integrated a team responsible for maintaining and building new features for a web application that analyzed audiences using Twitter data. Finally, Sérgio worked at Expedia as an IT Contractor and at KYND as a Lead Data Engineer.
🗯 Sérgio Areias obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade do Minho. 🗯 Sérgio completed their studies at the university from 2004 to 2009.
