Jarkko Haapalainen

Jarkko Haapalainen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, business development, and IT infrastructure modernization. Currently serving as Director, Client Partner at Kyndryl since September 2021, Jarkko focuses on fostering collaborations with industrial clients and facilitating IT modernization and cloud technology adoption. Prior to this role, Jarkko spent over two decades at IBM, where responsibilities included leadership positions such as Sales & Business Development Executive in Infrastructure Services, Red Hat Synergy Leader for the Nordic region, and various country-level roles overseeing strategic outsourcing and infrastructure services in Finland. Jarkko's career began at UPM-Kymmene as a Systems Analyst, complemented by a Master's degree in Data Communications from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
