Marek Ostrom

Marek Ostrom currently holds the position of Associate Director in both CIO Cloud Computing Hyperscaler Governance & FinOps and Program Management for Kyndryl's Hyperscaler & CIO Hosting Strategy and Engineering since September 2021. Prior to this, Marek served in various roles at IBM from May 2012 to September 2021, including Business Operations Leader for Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure and Global Infrastructure. Marek's expertise encompasses financial planning, cost management, predictive analytics, and advanced analytical reporting. Earlier experience includes being a Learning and Development Specialist at Volkswagen Slovakia and a Consultant for the Department of Operational Research and Econometrics. Academically, Marek earned a Ph.D. in Econometrics and Operational Research, as well as master's and bachelor's degrees in related fields from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia.
