Alison Strutt

Alison Strutt is a Senior Finance & Operations Leader, Board Advisor and M&A / Fundraising Specialist. Alison has held various roles in the Life Sciences sector over the last two decades. In 1999, they began their career as a Corporate Finance Advisor at Deloite. Alison then joined GSK in 2003, where they held roles such as VP, Head of Reporting Process and Transformation, VP Finance, Office of the CFO, Chief of Staff, Finance Strategy and Transformation Leader, VP, CFO, Medicines Discovery and Development, and Business Development Director. In 2017, they became a Non Executive on the Finance Committee at The Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2020, they became a Board Observer at Volcano Coffee Works. Since 2018, they have been Chief Operating Officer at NodThera, a small UK/US Biotech business, leading the Finance and Non-scientific functions in all 3 UK/US locations during a period of rapid growth. In 2022, they will become the Chief Financial Officer at Kynos Therapeutics Ltd. Alison has also served as a Trustee for Tres Cantos Open Laboratory Foundation since 2011.

Alison Strutt completed a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry and Physical Chemistry at the University of Wales, Cardiff. Alison then obtained a Chartered Acountant in Accounting and Finance at BPP.
