John O'Brien

John O'Brien has over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing and machining industries. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Operations Manager at KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools since April 1986, John has also contributed to software engineering with the development of the SGS Tool Wizard application. Previous roles include working as a Toner Tool and Tool Grinder at Swagelok from November 1984 to April 1986, specializing in CNC form grinding and milling, and as a Machinist at Michael's Racing Engines from March 1982 to November 1984, focusing on engine rebuilding for various performance needs. John holds a Journeyman Tool Maker degree from Akron Machining Institute (1987-1991) and an Associate in Specialized Technologies from Vale Technical Institute (1979-1981). Early education includes St. Peter Chanel, Walsh Jesuit, and St. Barnabas schools.
