Florian Antwerpen

Florian Antwerpen is the founder and managing director of Kyon Energy, which focuses on battery storage projects that contribute to stabilizing the electrical grid and support sustainable energy supply. Prior to this role, Florian worked in project development at Smart Power GmbH, where responsibilities included developing tailored solutions, overseeing large projects and their sales processes, and creating AI-based algorithms for operational strategy optimization. Earlier experiences in the BSH Home Appliances Group involved product development for water heating and small kitchen appliances, while internships at BMW Group included planning for body construction at two different facilities. Florian holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, and Robotics from the Technical University of Munich, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the same institution.
