Aline Normoyle

Aline Normoyle is an accomplished academic and industry professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Bryn Mawr College since August 2020. In parallel, Aline holds multiple roles, including Creative Director and Lead Programmer at Savvy Sine, LLC, and Director of Software Development at Venturi Labs, LLC, both since 2018, as well as a Visiting Research Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on clustering algorithms and modeling techniques. Aline's background features significant research involvement, including work as an AI Programmer and Researcher at Moon Collider, contributing to game AI middleware, and experience as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Swarthmore College. Aline completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computer Animation at the University of Pennsylvania, with interests spanning character animation, player modeling, and crowd authoring tools, and Aline's earlier research was supported by roles at the SIG Center for Computer Graphics, Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Institute, and Disney Research.
