Jay Galbreath

Jay Galbreath is the Director of Finance and Operations and Co-Founder at Kythera. Prior to this, Jay served as the VP of Business Development at Trilliant Health from October 2017 to December 2018 where they oversaw and managed business development activities, pricing, proposals, and contract review process. Jay was instrumental in the growth of MRR for data and analytics by 227% in six months from $147k to $334k, including $8.4M of incremental total contract value. Jay also served as data and analytics subject matter expert to support business development team.

Before Trilliant Health, Jay was the Head of Finance and Operations at Expression Health Analytics from August 2015 to September 2017 where they were the first non-founder employee. At Expression Health Analytics, Jay led operational management, sales operations, legal, human resources, hiring staff, and data acquisition strategy. Jay also served as healthcare subject matter expert to assist in building analytics products to serve ambulatory providers and hospital-based customers.

Jay Galbreath graduated with a Master of Accountancy (MA) in Information Systems from the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, where they earned cum laude honors. Jay also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Samford University, where they graduated magna cum laude. Jay is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

They are on a team with Ryan Leurck - Director of Product & Co-Founder, Jeremy Ellis - VP, Business Development, and Matt Ryan - Director Engineering & Co-Founder. Their manager is Jeff McDonald, CEO & Co-Founder.
