Zak Wellerman is a seasoned digital content producer with substantial experience in journalism and media. Currently serving at KYTX CBS19 since January 2022, Zak skillfully produces and edits digital content. Previous roles include multimedia journalist at Tyler Morning Telegraph, where Zak generated story ideas and managed online content, and Quitman Editor at Wood County Monitor, producing news relevant to local governance. Additionally, Zak worked as a reporter/editor at Dunn County Herald and gained valuable experience as a digital media intern at KLTV. Zak's leadership experience includes serving as Editor in Chief and News Editor for the Patriot Talon media outlet during academic years at the University of Texas at Tyler, where a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies was obtained.
