Daniel Anaya

Daniel Anaya is a seasoned expert in process development and manufacturing within the biotherapeutics sector, currently serving as Director of Process Development at Kyverna Therapeutics since May 2022. In this role, Daniel oversees the development and implementation of engineered T cell therapy products, ensuring effective technology transfer and GMP manufacturing. Prior to Kyverna, Daniel held the position of Associate Director of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology at PACT Pharma, focusing on manufacturing process design and performance enhancement. Previous experience includes key roles at Hitachi Chemical Advanced Therapeutics Solutions, LLC as Manufacturing Manager and Lead Manufacturing Associate, where expertise in biomanufacturing processes was cultivated. Daniel's earlier career features positions in molecular biology and environmental research, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
