Amanda Asmus

Amanda Asmus has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Amanda began their career in 2014 as a Home Health Registered Nurse at Gentle Hands, where they worked until December 2016. In 2014, they also started working at LAC-USC MED CENTER as a Neuro Critical Care RN, a position they held until April 2017. Amanda then joined Aurora Las Encinas Hospital in October 2017 as a Utilization Review Nurse, remaining there until June 2019. From June 2019 to December 2019, they worked as a Care Management Specialist at L.A. Care Health Plan. Following this role, they progressed within the company, first serving as a Supervisor in Care Management from January 2020 to April 2020, then as a Manager from April 2020 to February 2022. Currently, Amanda holds the position of Director of Care Management at L.A. Care Health Plan, a role they have held since February 2022.

Amanda Asmus has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare from Western Governors University, obtained in 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Masters of Science degree in Nursing Leadership and Management from the same university, from 2017 to 2018. Amanda also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing from Grand Canyon University, obtained from 2015 to 2016. In 2012 to 2013, they completed an RN program at the Los Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health. Additionally, Amanda obtained a Case Manager Certification (CCMC) from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) in 2020.
