Amy Gurango

Amy Gurango is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist and Program Manager for Member Outreach, Retention, and Engagement at L.A. Care Health Plan since August 2012. In this role, Amy manages member communications across multiple channels to enhance member engagement and retention. Prior to this position, Amy worked at Edelman from March 2008 to August 2012, progressing through roles from Intern to Senior Account Executive in the health sector. Additionally, Amy has experience as a School Based Operations Coordinator with Teach For America. Amy holds a Master's degree in Media and Public Affairs from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Oregon.
