Galen Williams

Galen Williams, Esq. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career in 2009 at Isles, Inc., where they worked as a Weatherization Data Specialist and later became a Program Associate. In 2013, they gained legal experience as an Intern at People's Law Office and as a Law Extern in the Cook County Circuit Court. In 2014, they interned at Regency Beauty Institute and 3M, and also worked as an Injury Video Review Technician for the National Football League. In 2015, they joined the National Health Law Program as a Fellow, where they researched and advocated for access to healthcare services. They then joined L.A. Care Health Plan in 2017, where they held various positions including Manager of Legal Operations, Special Project Manager to the General Counsel, and Manager of Legal Operations and Associate Counsel I. In 2022, they worked as an Associate Counsel, Individual Markets at Sidecar Health before returning to L.A. Care Health Plan as an Associate Counsel, Director, providing legal counsel in various areas such as Pharmacy, Provider Contracting, and Regulatory Advice.

Galen Williams, Esq. obtained a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Health Law and Bioethics from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2015. Prior to that, Galen studied at The John Marshall Law School and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 2013. Galen's undergraduate education was completed at Loyola University Maryland, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History in 2009. In 2016, Galen obtained their Attorney certification from the State Bar of California.
