James Sean Hovell

James Sean Hovell is a seasoned professional in digital development and design, currently serving as a Senior Digital Developer at L.A. Care Health Plan since March 2021, focusing on software design and web development for The Community Resource Center's initiatives. Prior experience includes roles as an Adjunct Professor at the College for Creative Studies, where advanced courses in Interaction Design were taught, and a Senior Multimedia Specialist at the Exploratorium, creating interactive experiences. James has also worked as an Exhibit Developer at the Michigan Science Center and built a successful studio, Yellowskyscraper, offering design and fabrication services. With a foundation in machinist skills from various roles, including CNC machining, James holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from College for Creative Studies and an Associates degree from Laney College in Machine Technologies and Welding Sciences.
