Jon Armstrong

Jon Armstrong has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jon began their career in the US Navy as a Radar System Engineer where they worked from 1992 to 2002. Jon then transitioned to the private sector, joining Second City Computers, Inc. as a Lead Enterprise Architect from 2002 to 2004. Jon later joined Family Health Network as the Director of Information Technology, where they stayed from 2004 to 2013. After that, they worked as a Healthcare Technology Consultant at L.A. Care Health Plan from 2013 to 2016. In 2016, they became the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Capital Blue Cross, leading the Vibra Health Plan startup. Since 2017, Jon has been working at L.A. Care Health Plan in various roles, including Senior Director II of Enterprise Data Management and Enterprise Applications Architect.

Jon Armstrong earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued studies in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Pennsylvania State University-Penn State Berks from 1990 to 1991. In addition, they obtained a certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer from Microsoft in 2003.
