Akshay Sukhwani

Akshay Sukhwani is an experienced project manager and engineer specializing in structural engineering, currently employed at L.A. Fuess Partners since January 2019, with a progression through roles including Senior Project Engineer, Project Engineer, and Structural Engineer. Prior experience includes an internship at Thornton Tomasetti and a tenure as Senior Structural Engineer at the same firm, where valuable skills in project design and execution were developed. Additional hands-on experience was gained through internships and trainee positions at Unique Builders, Public Works Departments, and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, focusing on site supervision, construction practices, and understanding industry processes. Akshay holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
