Lou started their career in 1997 as the Executive Director at Hitzig Schwinning Medical Group. Lou was responsible for the management and marketing of the company. In 2000, they became the President of Production By Design. As President, they were responsible for the executive production, business development, and web site development of the company.

In 2003, Lou Amico founded L.A. Management Company. The company specializes in corporate video production, TV commercial production, event management, and web site development. Under Lou's leadership, the company has become one of the leading production companies in Los Angeles.
