Marisa Mejía

Marisa Mejía is an experienced professional currently serving as an Associate in Diligence & Advisory at L Capital LLC since June 2023. Prior to this role, Marisa held multiple positions at Apex Leaders from August 2021 to March 2023, including Client Services Manager, Account Associate, and Research Associate. Marisa gained academic experience as a Teaching Assistant and Instructor at the University of Arizona from August 2019 to May 2021, specializing in sociolinguistics and second language writing. Earlier roles included Research and Lab Assistant at the Mary Ellen Ryder Linguistics Lab at Boise State University and Teaching Assistant at the English Language Center | Jannus. Additionally, Marisa contributed as a Team Leader during the VISTA Summer Associate tenure at AmeriCorps and The Idaho Foodbank in 2014. Marisa holds a Master of Arts in TESL, English Applied Linguistics from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in English, Linguistics from Boise State University, where Marisa also attended the Honors College.
