Bob Wagner

Bob Wagner is the President and CEO of Fishman Flooring Solutions, a position he has held since October 2003. He is also Chairman of the Fishman Board of Directors. He joined the company in 1997 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

In his current capacity, Bob oversees more than 240 employees working in 38 locations who, since May 2012, own 100 percent of their company. These dedicated employees provide solutions to customers in Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Bob’s customer-centric management philosophy is as simple as it is effective. The company’s employee-owners are focused on continuously improving how they serve and delight their customers; constantly finding ways to help customers do their jobs better; and always recognizing that only when their customers succeed does Fishman Flooring Solutions succeed.

Bob’s experience in the flooring installation business dates back to the mid-1970s when he was trained as a floor covering installer while in high school and worked in his family’s flooring installation supply business. He is a strong believer in giving back to the flooring installation community, which has provided him with continuous employment for four decades. He is actively involved in industry affairs and is a past president of the North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD).

Bob graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia in 1979, majoring in management and marketing, with a minor in psychology. He and his wife, Julie, reside in Ocean View, Delaware. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as golfing, boating and reading.
