Alyson Ljungholm

Alyson DeMerchant, MBA, currently serves as the Outdoor Program Coordinator at L.L.Bean since March 2021, where programming in recreational and sea kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding has been managed, achieving a 100% customer satisfaction rating and surpassing KPIs with a 30% increase in profit and participation. Prior experience includes roles as a microbiologist at Boston Analytical and various positions in education and naturalist capacities at organizations such as Seacoast Science Center and Blue Ocean Society for Marine Research and Conservation, where marine ecology lessons were delivered and community outreach was facilitated. Alyson holds an Outdoor Industry MBA from Western Colorado University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Houghton University.
