Matt Burns

Matt Burns, CPA, currently serves as an Accounting Manager at L.L.Bean since May 2022. Prior to this role, Matt held the position of Accounting Manager and Associate Manager at Accenture Federal Services from May 2017 to May 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing entries within CostPoint and SAP HANA, reviewing monthly consolidation entries, and providing financial data for various reporting and audit processes. Matt's background also includes experience as a Senior Audit Associate and Audit Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, where engagement involved auditing government contractors and clients in sectors such as technology and sports & entertainment. Additionally, Matt interned at the PCAOB and Grant Thornton LLP, gaining exposure to audit procedures. Matt earned a Master’s degree in Accounting from Villanova University and a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Richmond.
