Imrul Sumit

Imrul Sumit, MS, PMP, currently serves as System Engineering Manager at L3Harris Technologies, overseeing teams in systems engineering, integration and test, automation, and model-based system engineering since August 2019. Prior roles include Integrated Product Team Lead, where Imrul guided junior engineers and successfully delivered project milestones. Before L3Harris, Imrul held various positions at the US Army CCDC C5ISR SATCOM Systems, advancing from Staff Engineer to Program Manager, managing a portfolio focused on enterprise systems and SATCOM technologies. Additional experience includes roles at Lehman Brothers and the Stevens Institute of Technology. Imrul holds multiple degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and completed graduate courses at The Johns Hopkins University, alongside obtaining Acquisition Level III certification in System Engineering from Defense Acquisition University.
