John Dicks

Director of Programs

John Dicks is an experienced aerospace engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 1987. Dicks held the position of Project Manager at Lockheed Martin from June 1987 to August 1997, where responsibilities included managing six robotic design and development labs, focusing on robotic system development and Space Station robotic hardware verification. At L-3 Communications from August 1997 to January 2002, Dicks served as ISS IV&V Project Manager, leading a team that analyzed critical software for NASA's International Space Station, utilizing lifecycle analysis methods. Dicks continued at L3Harris Technologies from April 2013 to April 2020 as Sr. Program Manager for the Ship to Shore Connector, overseeing the development of its Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Navigation system, and also held the role of Program Manager providing IV&V analysis for NASA missions.
