John Pilkey is an experienced electrical engineer specializing in electromagnetic and nuclear effects, as well as EMI/EMC. Currently, they serve as the Lead Electrical Engineer at L3Harris Technologies, a position they have held since 2019. Previously, John worked at Sandia National Laboratories as a Research and Development Electrical Engineer from 2015 to 2019 and contributed to lightning research as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Florida from 2010 to 2014. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida, where they also obtained a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Mathematics.
