Max Pollard is a structural engineer at L3Harris Technologies since June 2025, where responsibilities include applying FEA and hand calculations for safe designs and acting as a liaison stress engineer for installation discrepancies. Prior experience includes a Digitalization and Automation Co-Op at Airbus, focusing on developing Python tools for stress analysis automation, and serving as a Stress Analysis Intern, performing trade studies and sensitivity analyses for fuel system modifications on the A321 XLR. Max also led a team of over 40 engineers as Chief Engineer for the AIAA 2023-2024 Design Build Fly competition and conducted research on wind turbine efficiency as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas. Max holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas.
