Michael Gilbert has been developing high-integrity embedded applications in defense and aerospace since 1990. They began their career as a Software Engineer at GE Aerospace, contributing to the Real-Time Data Manager for the AN/BSY-2 Submarine Combat System. Over the years, Michael has held positions at various companies, including Lockheed Martin and Harris Corporation, where they were one of the lead software designers for the US Air Force GPS III program. Currently, they serve as a Senior Software Engineer at L3Harris Technologies, focusing on the design and implementation of R-GPS Navigation payloads. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
