Rob Hill

Manager, Program Management

Rob Hill is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and education. Currently serving as Manager of Program Management at L3Harris Technologies since November 2021, Rob leads a team overseeing the evaluation, repair, and upgrade of over 800 items produced by Maritime Power and Energy Solutions Anaheim. Prior to this role, Rob spent nearly 25 years in the US Navy, including positions as Executive Officer of the NROTC Unit Los Angeles Consortium, where over 100 undergraduates were educated for military service, and Officer-In-Charge of the Undersea Warfighting Detachment Center at Pearl Harbor. Additional naval roles included Executive Officer of USS COLUMBUS (SSN-762) and a Nuclear Submarine Officer. In academia, Rob served as Department Vice Chair and Assistant Adjunct Professor at UCLA and as Department Vice Chair and Associate Professor at USC, managing Naval Science departments and their curricula. Educationally, Rob holds an Executive MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, a Master’s in Engineering Acoustics from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Bachelor's in Biology with a marine concentration from UCLA.
