Sohum Hora

Sohum Hora is currently serving as a Business Development Associate at L3Harris Technologies, focusing on Maritime Services - Seabed Systems since October 2024. Previously, Sohum worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UCI Samueli School of Engineering from March 2023 to April 2024, conducting research on tensegrity structures under Professor Julián Rimoli, which involved rapid prototyping and CAD modeling for novel applications in foldable satellites and solar sails. Additionally, Sohum held the position of Vice President of Finance & Aircraft Engineer at UAV Forge and completed a Fiber Optic Engineer Internship at Crown Castle in the summer of 2023, assisting in designing fiber networks for urban infrastructures. Sohum holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from UCI Samueli School of Engineering, earned in March 2024, and an Advanced Scholar Diploma from Dublin High School, obtained in 2020.
