Stephen Schmidt

Stephen Schmidt is an accomplished leader in defense and business development, currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Fuzing and Ordnance Systems at L3Harris Technologies since November 2016. With military service as a retired Commander from the US Navy, Schmidt has extensive experience as a Navy pilot and held key roles in various capacities, including as the Director of Training and Operations Officer. Prior work at L-3 Communications involved managing business development for infrared products targeted at the Departments of Defense and Homeland Security. Schmidt possesses a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Webster University, along with a background in DOD acquisitions.
