Toby Stecklein

Toby Stecklein, Ph.D., is a Senior Director of Engineering at Leonardo DRS, bringing over 25 years of professional leadership experience in engineering management, strategy development, and product design across highly regulated industries such as aerospace and defense. Previously, Toby held engineering and management positions at Southwest Research Institute, ITT Corporation, Rockwell Collins, and Ball Aerospace, where they contributed significantly to product development and strategic initiatives. Toby also founded knowlEDGE consulting, LLC, offering business consulting services to optimize small and medium-sized enterprises. Toby earned a Ph.D. in Organization and Management from Capella University, along with master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Iowa and Organizational Leadership from Mercy College.
