Doron Chema

Doron Chema has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. In 1996, they began their career as a C++ Developer at Amdocs, where they were responsible for developing billing systems in a C++, Windows/Oracle environment. In 1999, they moved to Intel Corporation as a Software Team Leader, where they were responsible for production systems and development in a Web/MainFrame environment. In 2000, they joined Prochon Biotech Ltd. as a Computational Researcher. In 2002, they worked at The Open University of Israel as a Software Dev. Training Manager. In 2003, they founded BioLog Technologies Ltd. with Chema D. and Azaria A., where they served as the CTO. In 2006, they were a Senior R&D Manager at imdSoft. In 2008, they were the VP R&D at Forex Cash Blog, where they managed a group of 35 employees and led the Web Systems Architecture and Products definition. In 2009, they were the Head of R&D and Projects Unit at Elad Systems, where they managed 70 employees and led major changes in systems architecture, development Life cycle and Products definitions. In 2013, they worked at Bank Hapoalim as a Senior Architect. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded L7 Defense, a next generation cyber solutions startup company specializing in API security and developing smart mitigation Solutions for sophisticated cyber attacks, which is backed up by Elbit & CSO- Seed investment.

Doron Chema holds a Ph.D. in Bio-Informatics from Tel Aviv University and an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
