Vivian Pera

Vivian arrived to the USA (1975) as a political refugee from Cuba with her husband and kids. With a background in Human Services and Health Care, she started to work managing a medical office, later on worked in the insurance field. She acquired six licenses and a Medical Interpreter certification. Vivian came to Massachusetts to accompany her daughter to attend college and she fell in love with Massachusetts, it was “love at first sight” as she called. She was looking towards the retirement and dedicate some time for herself when she received a phone call from a friend asking if she could work in the office of La Alianza Hispana for a few weeks to help them organize some records, Vivian said, yes, it was August 27, 2012. Today, February 2018 she stills working for La Alianza Hispana.
