Matthieu Guémené

Matthieu Guémené is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as the Managing Director and Head of Project Finance for Renewable Energy at La Banque Postale since February 2017. Matthieu leads a team that arranges and loans between €600 million and €900 million in senior debt annually for European renewable energy projects. Previously, Matthieu held the position of Investment Officer in Renewable Energy Project Finance at La Banque Postale, structuring approximately €2.7 billion in senior debt for over 1,500 MW of projects across various renewable energy sectors. Prior to joining La Banque Postale, Matthieu worked at Deloitte Finance as a manager in Financial Advisory Services, specializing in business modeling and project finance, and earlier at Agence Française de Développement as a Junior Investment Officer. Matthieu holds an engineering degree from École nationale des ponts et chaussées, as well as dual MBAs from Fox School of Business at Temple University and École des Ponts Business School.
