Michelle Zylstra

Director, Human Resources at Los Angeles Clippers

Michelle Zylstra is the current Director of Human Resources for the Los Angeles Clippers. Prior to their current position, Michelle held various positions in human resources and coaching. From May 2011 to February 2018, they were the Director of Strategic Accounts and Assistant Vice President for Robert Half. In this role, they managed client relationships, developed business, and delivered resources for enterprise level accounts, primarily on the West Coast. Michelle focused on technology infrastructure and development projects, including virtual reality builds, application development, testing, network architecture, database development and management, project management, and help desk build outs.

Some of their notable clients have included Disney, ESPN, Petco, Intuit, Molina Healthcare, and the entire Cal State University System. From May 2007 to April 2011, Michelle was an Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball at Loyola Marymount University. During their time there, they coached multiple All-WCC athletes - including the all-time leading scorer in the West Coast Conference.

Before working at Loyola Marymount University, Michelle was an Academic Coach at Wauconda High School from August 2004 to August 2005. In this role, they helped student-athletes achieve success in the classroom as well as on the playing field. Michelle also spent two years as an assistant coach for Yale University's Women's Basketball team from July 2005 to June 2007.

Michelle Zylstra received their Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies with a focus in Organizational Communication from Northwestern University. Michelle also attended Edison High School.
