Matthieu Bertapelle is an accomplished hospitality professional with extensive experience in various managerial roles. Currently serving as Directeur général and Directeur des opérations at La Commune since May 2021, Matthieu previously held the position of F&B Manager at Club Med from November 2016 to September 2020, where Matthieu was one of the first externally recruited managers to work across multiple resorts. Prior roles include Assistant General Manager at Forge in London, Financial Manager at Auberge Fond Rose within the Paul Bocuse Group, and Head Waiter at Brasserie l'Ouest, also part of the Paul Bocuse Group. Matthieu began their career as General Manager at Rhône boat in Lyon, progressing from waiter to floor manager. Matthieu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from IAE Universite Jean Moulin Lyon 3.
