Won Byon

Won Byon currently serves as the Department Information Security Officer at LA County Library, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Won Byon worked as an Information Security Architect for the Los Angeles County Office of Education from March 2023 to November 2024. Experience also includes various leadership roles at SuperCare Health (USA) from May 2013 to December 2020, and serving as Chief Information Officer and VP of Finance/Director of IT at TwinMed, LLC from November 2007 to February 2012. Won Byon began the career as a Lecturer in Finance at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, from January 2007 to May 2009, and gained project management and technical consulting experience at Tensoft, LLC from August 2003 to November 2007. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
