Kaycee Irwin is a dedicated Health Educator at La Crosse County since October 2022, leading youth substance use prevention initiatives under the CDC Drug Free Communities grant. Kaycee facilitates a coalition primary prevention workgroup, utilizing SAMHSA prevention strategies to address diverse populations. Previously, Kaycee served as an Administrative Specialist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from January to May 2022, enhancing clinical and public health laboratories and facilitating COVID-19 response calls. Other experiences include serving as an Assistant Manager at Rogers Cinema and volunteering as a Data Collector for the CDC's mask adherence project. Kaycee holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Community Health Education and is pursuing a Master of Public Health at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Additionally, Kaycee participated in a study abroad program in Spanish Language and Literature.
