LA CTO Forum
Hootan Nikbakht has extensive experience in technology leadership, currently serving as a member of the LA CTO Forum since May 2020. Nikbakht held the position of CTO at Lucky Day from February 2017 to December 2023 and served as an advisor at Peachscore from October 2022 to February 2023. Additionally, Nikbakht was a member of the Forbes Technology Council from February 2019 to April 2020 and held dual roles as CTO and VP of Engineering at Tilofy from March 2014 to January 2017. Past experience includes a senior software engineer role at Burstly and a software engineer position at Generation Wireless, as well as a tenure at IBM as a software engineer and at the Center for Embedded Networked Sensing as a research assistant. Hootan Nikbakht holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from the same institution.

LA CTO Forum is a vibrant, private, invite-only network of software CTOs who exchange ideas, share experiences, and help each other when needed. We conduct monthly meetings, quarterly roundtables, and discuss different business and technology topics. At over 250 members, this is the largest CTO group in the US.
