Carmen Navas

Carmen Navas has a diverse work experience in the field of digital art and design. Carmen is currently working as the Head of Art at LA DESPENSA since 2014. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Visual Design and UI-UX. Carmen also worked as a Digital Art Director at R* from 2008 to 2013. Carmen has extensive freelance experience as well, where they worked as a Digital Art Director, Designer, and UX/UI specialist. Carmen started their career as a Graphic and Web Designer at Pixel Line in 2004.

Carmen Navas has a diverse education background. In 1997, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in History of Art from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Carmen then pursued further education in design-related fields. From 2002 to 2003, they completed a Master's degree in Graphic Design at the CEV Escuela superior de Comunicación, Imagen y Sonido. In 2005 and 2006, they enrolled in a Master's program in Web Design and Development at CREACTIVA. In 2012, they specialized in Interaction Design and Usability at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. In 2017, Carmen attended a workshop on Lean UX - Agile Design Processes called "EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education." This workshop focused on UI/UX design.
