Leora Zalman

Leora Zalman is a seasoned professional in the field of microbiology, with an extensive background in scientific research and curation. Currently serving as Senior Scientific Curator at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology since March 2006, Zalman has previously held significant roles such as Senior Staff Scientist at Genoptix from 2003 to 2004 and Senior Scientist positions at Pfizer Global Research and Development from 1993 to 2003, as well as Agouron Pharmaceuticals from 1993 to 1999. Zalman earned a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of California, Berkeley from 1976 to 1982.
