Kevin Betthauser has a diverse work experience. Kevin started their career as a Pharmacy Intern at VA Medical Center in 2011 and worked there until 2014. In 2013, they also served as a Teaching Assistant at Drake University. In 2015, they joined Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where they held various roles over the years, including PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program Director, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist- Medicine Intensive Care, PGY-1 Residency Program Coordinator, and PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident. At the same time, they also worked as a Clinical Instructor at St. Louis College of Pharmacy. Currently, they are serving as Associate Director Medical Affairs at Innoviva Specialty Therapeutics, Inc. starting from 2023.
Kevin Betthauser attended Drake University from 2009 to 2015, where they obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree in the field of Pharmacy. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In June 2015, they received the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Certification from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative. Kevin also obtained a Pharmacy License from the Missouri Board of Pharmacy in June 2015. In October 2014, they received a Researcher Certification from the National Institutes of Health. Furthermore, in July 2018, they became a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist through the BPS - Board of Pharmacy Specialties. Lastly, in August 2015, they obtained the Advanced Cardiac Life Support/Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
