Cindy Knight

Cindy Knight has over two decades of experience in the education field. Cindy began their career in 1998 as a Teacher at Cajon Valley Union School District, where they later transitioned into roles like Title 1 Bilingual Facilitator/Literacy Coach and District Supplemental Educational Services Coordinator. In 2004, they became an Assistant Principal before moving up to Principal in 2005. Cindy expanded their leadership experience as the Director of Education Services at Cajon Valley Union School District before taking on the role of School Principal at La Mesa-Spring Valley School District in 2020.

Cindy Knight holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Oregon (year unspecified) and a BS from Bushnell University (1987). Cindy also obtained an Admn Credential in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from California State University San Marcos. In 2018, they participated in The 2018 ASU + GSV Summit and became a TEDxYouth Event Organizer with TEDxKids@ElCajon.
