Agustin Duran is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in media focusing on the Latino community in Los Angeles. Currently serving as the Metro Editor at La Opinion since February 2019, Agustin previously held the position of Spanish News Editor at HOY LOS ANGELES from April 2013 to June 2017, where responsibilities included writing, editing, and assigning stories. Experience also encompasses roles as Editor at Latinocalifornia.com and as a Freelancer with MTA, covering events relevant to the Latino community and public transportation issues. Prior roles include Partnership Specialist at the US Census Bureau and Reporter at La Opinion. Agustin holds a Master's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from California State University, Northridge, an Associate of Arts in Communications from Los Angeles Southwest College, and a degree in Communications from Universidad de Periodismo y Arte en Radio y Television.
