Ryne Waggoner, M.S., P.E., currently serves as the Compliance and Systems Engineering Manager for La Plata Electric Association, with responsibilities including substation engineering, project management, and ensuring NERC compliance. Prior experience includes senior mechanical engineering roles at Lockheed Martin, where Ryne contributed to major projects such as the InSight Mars Lander and OSIRIS-REx mission, and held various engineering positions at Veeco, Mistequay Group Ltd., and Northrop Grumman Corporation. Ryne's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Systems Engineering from the University of Denver and multiple bachelor's degrees in engineering disciplines from Colorado State University and Fort Lewis College, complemented by an associate degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology from Universal Technical Institute.
