Richard Ducote

Mr. Ducote interacted with many Green Valley/Sahuarita non-profits as Community Development Manager at Freeport McMoRan, from which he retired in June of 2015. He is an Arizona native, and a Tucson resident since 1966. He was a reporter for the Green Valley News from 1984 to 1986, and a longtime reporter, editor and columnist for the Arizona Daily Star. Mr. Ducote has served on the Board of Directors for several area organizations, including the American Red Cross Southern Chapter and the Community Performance & Art Center (CPAC) of Green Valley. Mr. Ducote holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with major in political science and minor in journalism from the University of Arizona.
