Cathy Bender

Cathy Bender is a Governing Board Director at LA Promise Fund. Cathy has over 20 years of experience in sales and sales management.

Cathy started their career at Genesys, where they held various roles, including Vice President of Sales and Director of Telesales & Telemarketing for Americas. In 2005, they joined Microsoft as a Regional Vice President, responsible for leading a 200+ person sales organization across the Southwest US. In 2011, Cathy moved to Skype as Head of Enterprise Sales for America's, responsible for building and managing the Enterprise and SMB Sales Organizations.

Throughout their career, Cathy has been focused on selling Voice & Collaboration Software Solutions to Enterprise and SMB Customers. Cathy has a proven track record of success in Pre-IPO organizations and large corporations.

Cathy Bender's educational career includes earning a bachelor's degree in business from Western Michigan University and attending Haslett High School.
