Cierra Leblanc

Cierra LeBlanc, MPH, currently serves as an Epidemiologist at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this role, Cierra was an Applied Epidemiology Fellow at the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, where responsibilities included infectious disease surveillance and outbreak investigation. Cierra's previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Oregon Health & Science University, focusing on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and Autism Spectrum Disorder genetic modeling. Cierra holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Oregon Health & Science University and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Washington. Additional experiences include sales positions and research assistantships, including a notable stint at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, contributing to research on antibiotic-resistant microbial strains.
