Rhia Erica L. Jordan

Erica L. Jordan, RHIA has a diverse work experience in health information management. Erica L. is currently serving as the Chief Privacy Officer/Manager of Health Information Management at La Rabida Children's Hospital since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at American National University from September 2020 to June 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Associate of Health Information Management at Vizient, Inc from December 2017 to June 2021.

Erica also has experience working as the Director of Health Information Technology and Adjunct Instructor at St. Clair County Community College from August 2011 to November 2017. Erica L. served as the Director of Health Information Management at Portage Health from September 2009 to April 2011.

Earlier in their career, Erica worked as the Manager of Medical Record Services at Henry Ford Health System from June 2003 to June 2008, and as the Medical Records Department Coordinator at Madison Community Hospital from May 1997 to December 2002.

Erica L. Jordan, RHIA, obtained a BHIM degree in Health Information Management Administration from Baker College of Flint. Erica L. attended the college from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their degree, Erica earned the certification of Registered Health Information Administrator from the American Health Information Management Association in December 1995.
